Returning this year:  “Intro to Tip-Hop” for Pre-schoolers will tip, tap, hop and bop to a fun age and time length appropriate  ½ hour introduction to Tip-Hop. 

 

A new combination class, offering a fusion of classical tap and an introduction to the very popular hip hop style.  Building on the rhythms and beats of tap, and in conjunction with the motor skill development needed to enjoy a Hip-Hop class; JEDEC introduces the students to age appropriate hip hop movements and combinations. Participating students of this combination class will wear the tap base attire and can anticipate a tap performance in the recital.  Note:  It is also suggested to bring along a pair of ballet or jazz shoes to Tip-hop class as well.
