Pre-Pointe Classes

In Pre-Pointe classes, students wear ballet slippers and begin to prepare for their advancement onto pointe in their ballet class schedule that is set up with the Artistic Director taking into consideration each student's individual goals.  The art of pointe is an elegant addition to ballet that takes the developed, age appropriate dancer and raises her to the tips of her toes.  Dancers must have a sufficient amount of ballet training and have both the Artistic Director’s approval and a physician’s note stating the dancer may advance to the specialty pointe shoes and is able to participate in the serious training required to be a pointe dancer.
