Mnis (Ages 5-7)

JEDEC’s Minis age group (ages 5-7) JEDEC’s Minis continue to work and build upon dance (and if applicable Acro) concepts which began in the pre-school program with gentle advancement in degrees of complexity.  With JEDEC’s “Circle of Development Philosophy” children gain self confidence and poise while learning and adding to their fundamental dance skills.  Classes are structured, yet varied with styles of dance and music to motivate the imagination and attention of a young student while fostering fun in their dance education studies.

FAQ:  If particular colors aren't required, is there a certain color that that JEDEC recommends for shoes?

Answer:  We find that "Ballet Pink" ballet shoes, and Black tap shoes are readily available and the most commonly purchased.  This can be helpful come recital time as JEDEC makes every effort to go "with the majority" in choosing shoes colors so not to add the cost of having to buy another pair of shoes.  If participating in Acro, please be sure to note the Acro dress code.
